User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe have known the family that started here in Muncie as Tasty Chinese and then out grew the Meadows Shopping Plaza and moved to the present location and opened under the new name Red Sun...Very nice family.
Very open eating area, Roomy, nice buffet style layout with the Mongolian Grilled to order selection, as well as traditional Chinese Restaurant and very clean, competitive pricing and well prepared selections and service is always good.
My Wife and I both highly recommend this for Families and groups. Very Convenient, Very good Parking.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI used to think I hated chinese food: That was until my boyfriend had me try some from The Red Sun..... Needless to say I love it.... I have 3 children who I also have to feed, I can feed 5 and some on the same price I would spend on an unhealthy meal from Mcdonalds.

you'll find plenty of other stuff to love. How about prime ribs, two different kinds
of shrimp, fried chicken ...you can't go wrong. Try em once, you'll go back :)

Yes we used to be located "Next door" now I really miss them being across town. But still worth the drive, or stop by. Our Prayer group likes them for after meetings too.

The Best Chinese food around...: If you want to enjoy a Chinese buffet,that is of low cost.. but well worth it, then you must visit our Red Sun of Muncie.. People travel from near by cities and towns to eat there... Good for family, dining for two.. or even eating for one..

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Best Chinese Food in Muncie: This is a place that my son and myself frequent often.. It use to be his "I WON" after game dinner... other times of course he wanted steak... but this is a very pleasant place to eat.. they have the buffet variety, and you can also use their open gril to fix anything to your liking. Many people travel to come to Muncie to eat there.. It would be really good for their business to expand.. as I am sure the owner is thinking about it... I recommend it for families, couples, and to eat there alone... Take this for what it is, it is hard to understand the staff... but it is also hard for the staff to understand US.... enjoy your self.. dine there... and let me know what you think

I have o agree the grill is pretty awesome and they do run it very well. It is of course a Chinese Resturant...and I think all of the Staff are Chinese. But I have never had a problem being understood or understanding them in return.

I have to agree as I work at the Army Navy Surplus and some times go here for lunch when I am out and about...can't beat it.
