Lucky Chan Chinese Restaurant

We have been ordering from this resturant about once a month since it opened in Sachse. We first ordered on a recomendation from a friend/neighbor. We LOVE the food esp. the comb. lo mein. Portions are very large. Delivery is always quicker than they predict. I would give 5 starts except that we have not eaten in the resturant - only delivery.

Sounds to me like all the good reviews are coming from "special" customers or owner/employees themselves... This place was one of the worst my family has ever experienced. Maybe, we caught them on a bad night! Portions were not comparable to other local restaurants and the rice was like trying to eat bark from a tree... very dry, not maintained or freshly prepared. We all had to take pepto about 30 minutes after eating main dish ( although it tasted very good)... horrible stomach cramps later! We would not recommend taking a chance on the food! Order at your own risk... timing is "probably" everything! We ordered @ 7:30 p/u around 7:45 pm! We may have had better experience eating in and watching our food be prepared!!! You never know?!?!?!? May try it again eating in restaurant later. Awful Takeout!!!!

Ordered Pepper Steak & Chicken Lo Mein about 45 minutes ago. I decided to try it after reading all the good reviews. But everyone has their own opinion. We had to send the Pepper Steak back and switch to Beef Broccoli because it had a charred burn taste. Even the Beef Broccoli was horrible. I ate the chicken Lo Mein and it was the best I had ever eaten. However, my stomach has never hurt so bad. I would rather eat horrible tasting food then to have this stomach pain.

We really like this place and have been coming for the past 5 years. It is very clean and the staff really enjoys the kids watching them prepare the food. Portion size is large enough for @ least 3 adults - really insane! We have had only good or great experiences with them.

Nice when someone tells the whole web not to take me too seriously when it comes to the restaurant. It may have received many good reviews which do not matter to me - all I know is the food my wife and I received was such poor quality that I would not want anyone I know to have to experience what we experienced.

It was absolutely the worst food I have ever eaten in my entire life !!!!!!!!!!!! (at least the one bite that my wife and I had before throwing it out).



My wife and I ordered food to be delivered tonight and it was by far the worst chinese food we have ever had in our entire lives. We both took one bite and dumped them in the container outside so it did not smell up the house.

We can get better or at least edible chinese food in the frozen food section at Krogers.

Unless you want to be turned off completely by chinese food then NEVER order food from this place.

Don't take what Hurting Stomach says too seriously. Look at what everyone else is saying. Chan's is one of the better Chinese delivery restaurants in the area in my opinion.

I LOVE this place. The portions are MASSIVE and the staff is always very friendly. The sesame chicken is unlike ANY other. Just amazing. Best Chinese food around. (No buffet though) - Which is okay!

HUGE portions!!! Very clean place to eat. Wonderful atmosphere. Food is Awesome! Kid frindley!!Reasonably priced. could use better high chairs. But 100% will go back agin and soon!

Awesome food, whenever I get hungary for something different, Lucky Chan's is the choice! Atmosphere is good, clean facilities, and watching the food being made is comforting, too. KUNG PAO!!!!

We need an on line menu
however this resturant is wonderful and i would suggest the chicken chow mein and cheese rolls
