The food was pretty bad. We ordered Paneer Makhni which had no salt and Veg Kofta which was decent and Veg biryani and a lamb biryani which were very very bland. The service was awful!! Nobody attended to us for about 15 minutes. The waiter (who seemed like the head waiter) was extremely rude. He wouldn't repeat the order when we requested him to do so, kept muttering something under his breath. All in all a terrible experience. Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.
You will definitely keep coming back!: This is quite possibly the best lunch buffet in town. If you enjoy Indian food, this is the one that sets the standard in terms of quality, variety and service. The Chicken Tikka Masala is pure perfection!
Best Indian!: It's rare to crave an Indian buffet all week, but that's Jaipur. My boyfriend and I eat there almost every weekend because it offers a reasonably priced, fresh and delicious lunch buffet. The owner and the service are great. We love the tandoori chicken (but it's not white meat so if that's your issue, be warned) and the variety of sides and curries. I love the salads, especially the tomato/cucumber/corn stuff and the raita. Very yummy. It's next to the Westside Pavillon and has no parking, but we walk from our house or park in the public lots across the street. The a la carte items are worth the price too. They are served in copper pots with a candle to keep them warm and are delicious. Best naan I've ever had (especially the garlic naan). Love this place. I've lived here for 13 years and this is one of my top favorites for a good meal at a good price. My boyfriend has had Indian food at the best restaurants in London and Paris and thinks this is better -- he raves about it and tells his European friends to come to LA for the Indian buffet at Jaipur.
Nice Lunch Buffet: I met a friend here for lunch and the buffet they had set up was very nice. A good selection of various Indian dishes. The service was fantastic and the restaurant was not very crowded. Definitely swing by here for lunch.
A real gem of an indian restaurant...: The Chicken Tikka Masala at Jaipur is second to none, and they have an excellent All-You-Can-Eat Brunch offering. I also love the Samosas and the Garlic Naan... It is located in a little storefront on Pico Blvd, and its plain simple decor doesn't distract from the excellent food & service. Also, for dine-in, they will accept the KCRW card which makes this restaurant a definite first-class bargain. Caveat: The nearby Westside Pavillion is undergoing massive renovations, so the traffic and parking situation is atrocious. They do have valet parking, and there's a pay lot across the street on Pico.
good food: even though it was my first time, today, this restaurant clearly met my needs for the taste acquired to enjoy a delicious indian food. they were good in their services and value and at last i really found an indian restaurant which made good food, besides homemade, because this restaurant when compared to other indian restaurants was really good in the way they prepared their food ( no offense to other indian restaurants this is just my opinion and the way i felt about this restaurant)
