one great thing I love about this place is they dont add delivery fees and the price on the menu includes tax. So if it says it is $15 that is the final price, you just give a tip to the driver and that is all. Most pizza delivery these days add on all kinds of extra fees so it ends up almost $5 higher in price. I like the fresh ingredients they use here too. very good pizza.
Pizza My Heart: Exactly what pizza is supposed to be. And don't forget on February 14th there will be heart-shaped pizzas to show you REALLY care!
Unusal selections: They have some great toppings though consistency is a problem with them.
Good pizza, not great: Pizza My Heart is good pizza on a cold, drizzly, Santa Cruz evening.
quick and greasy?: I love pizza, let's be clear about that. What I don't like is greasy, cold pizza, and that's what I got. Sure, if you are hanging around after a show, had a few drinks, and you want a slice of pizza, no complaints about the food here... but otherwise, steer clear. I have had better pizza in England (and believe me, that is saying a lot!).
I wish it were better, I wish my review were better, but the fact is, it's not. While sitting there, struggling down the slice(s) of expensive pizza in front of me, 2 other people went up to get their slices reheated. I also wanted mine to be de-soggy-fied, but no such luck.
On the plus side, I really liked their assortment of condiments for the pizza. My recommendation, if you must go there: choose the cheese pizza, and add your own flavor from the condiment bar. Course, you do need to like the taste of grease as well.....
Great place for slice: If you're in a hurry this is the place. They have a variety
of slices on the ready. Order a couple slices and you're
on your way in minutes.
I also like the interior surf theme.
My only complaint is sometimes they don't have the
particular kind of slices you want so you have to be
willing to try something different.
