User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is, by far, the best Subway shop I've ever been to! I eat here almost everyday and choose this shop over all the competition in Amherst. There service is fast, friendly, and I always get such fresh bread and veggies! I see the owner frequently asking customers how there experience was to ensure their happiness. Since the new owners took over in January 2006, this place has nearly doubled in business! I can tell since I'm there almost everyday and it's fun to watch. Sometimes when I'm at the store the employees are crazy busy doing huge catering orders for the local colleges. One time they had to make over 450 subs for 1 order!! They're a great crew and deserve anybody's business. Plus they guarantee it. If customer's aren't happy about anything, they find a way to make the customer happy. This place is relaxing and has a great atmosphere, not to mention their restrooms are open to the public (most other places in Amherst are only for customers) This just shows how they value the public and their needs! I can't say it enough....this place is the best in every way!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhat a difference!: Just learned that the downtown Subway is under new ownership and what freaked me out is that the new owner is fresh outta college and around 22 years old. He certainly adds to the atmosphere by greeting you and thanking you for visiting. Says that location is going to be remodeled shortly and I cant
wait to see how he intends to improve it. Owner says his partner is Subway's very first employee and been around 40 years, so I guess these two guys will make eating those fresh toasted sandwiches an even better experience. The new chicken parm sub is awesome and reasonable!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhat a Wonderful Restaurant: I love eating at this subway, it is so good. Fast, friendly service, great portions of meats and veggies. And I like the great seating arrangements, very spacious. And excellent cookies, chips & juice selections.
