    Rao's: Best coffee shop in Amherst! Is like my home away from home! they have the best hot chocolate. Plus all the coffee and drinks are organic and fair-trade. And they have free wireless, so I can go there and do homework or use computer or just meet a friend!

    Not your Grandfather's Rao's: Rao's is one of several coffee shops in Amherst. They've got good pastries and better coffee, though honestly it has declined in the last few years. Service can be spotty. The waitstaff are always friendly, but at times they seem painfully slow. The front and side patios are great to hang out on during the summer, as they have ample room and a mixture of sunny and shaded areas.
