i had a really screwed up mouth,, alot of decay under some expensive crown/bridge that needed correction. Dr. Medaugh spent alot of time with me and really explained a complicated process that involved perio and a visit to endo. He and his staff worked out a payment agreement that made all the work over 2 years manageable. I got a good result and felt I - and family-was well taken care of.

I went to Valley Dentists 6 months after having a root canal completed and was advised that I had decay under the crown. Dr Medaugh sent be an estimate for $1800 to have the tooth re-crowned. At that point I went to seek a second opinion which eventually turned into 4 different dentist/prostodontists looking at the took and the same X-ray he used to determine there was no problem with my tooth. When I went back to Valley Dentists to ask him about it, he explained or shall I say back-pedalled that there is always a ridge on only crown and that there will eventually be decay. He only wanted to put a new crown on the tooth...which in his opinion would only result in decay-why would I put a new crown on then?
I wanted to use a local dentist but let's say I will never ben going back to him again.

I went to Valley Dentists not even 2 years ago. They were very friendly and nice. Dr Medaugh re-did all of my fillings from when i was a child (into the white ones). After my visit I had to get 2 root canals within 8 months. I recently went to the dentist (a new dentist since then) and 4 of the fillings that were replaced less than 2 years ago now need to be replaced again already. I have never had a filling replaced prior to 2 years ago and now i need them replaced again. It may have just been my bad experience with my teeth. My work was done in a few visits and probably partly my fault because i wanted it that way, i would suggest not putting a rush on an dentistry.
