Best Indian in West Mass: This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Western Massachusetts and I am Including the Berkshires(yes, for those readers who live along the Connecticut River, pull out a map... W.Mass includes more than two feet west of the river) . Second place goes to Bombay's in Lee and third is Pintu's in West Springfield. If you have tried any of the ones in Northampton or Amherst, don't worry... it's not you, it's them. If you are new to Indian cuisine then of course have Chicken Tikka Masala for your first experience. However Sitar's is so good it is addictive so beware of feeding it to a loved one or you will find yourself driving there every five minutes. They have wine from India also and this is excellent..try the white. If trying to Impress a date then order Tandoori Chicken and of course hope that your date doesn's finish off all the tikka which could ruin your night but at the very least dip your nan bread in the sauce. Then you will understand why it is a sacrifice to get the very impressive sizzling tandoori chicken whilst making you look all cool, like you are an Indian food guru and all. Yes this is the one, but is a difficult choice between this and Lee for a trip.
