2008 update: The entire ambiance has changed for the better. We ate there 9/08 and got very fast service . The hamburg was cooked as ordered and the salmon entree was just right. We were able to substitute broccoli for rice at no charge. Even the salad bar had an improved selection. I can't give this 4 stars since it's a lower cost chain, but it's now worth the visit. Please spend the few dollars more and go here instead of Applebees! Following is my 2-star review from 2007: Generic Food at Ruby Tuesday: Ruby Tuesday is where one can go on a Monday when non-chain restaurants are closed. There is no ambiance, just a few pieces of junk thrown high on the walls. A hamburg is the best bet here and costs around $8. Other food choices are generic tasting and highly salted. Service is consistently slow. I wonder if the other reviews I read about great service were from the franchise owner's friends. The self-serve salad bar offered a lower selection of choices than most. Those who think this is a great restaurant would also think the same of TGIF and Bennigans - low caliber chains. There is a sit-down bar area. Parking is free and abundant. The overall rating of 2 is considered poor; I'd really have given this 1.5

A Wonderful Place to Eat: This is a wonderful place to eat. They have a very friendly atmosphere and the service is spectacular. The waitress/waiter's there with the item before you ask for it. The food is delicious and the portions are okay, depending on what you order, sometimes it's a bit over whelming. The only downfall was the price, it was a bit steep but you get great food and good service. It's definately a place that I would eat at again.

One of my favorite places: As usual, I pony up to the bar, so I never saw the whole seating area. I DO know that the place is clean and the service is fast and friendly. The salad bar has everything you could want and is reasonably priced. They are also located down the street from a major mall and movie theater, so its a nice place to meet before going out. This place is not located downtown, so the crowd is a little older and less wild. Overall, I LOVE this place!
