Wow. This place needs a staff and decor makeover. Last night we sat in a booth in front of the owner, and we heard him make rude, gossipy comments to his employees about other people who worked there. They food was terrible and really, someone needs to do some cleaning. It grossed us out so much that we vowed never to return.
Hometown Charm Meets Retro Chic: The Moonlight Diner, housed in brick building painted the hot pink of a 50's era poodle skirt, prepares guests for the retro decor inside. Movie posters of Marlon Brando adn James Dean adorn the walls, along with numerous 45 records. A wurlitzer jukebox plays 50's and 60's hits. Decor is pink, black and white, interior is clean. Features bar with smoking, fully separate from non-smoking only dining section. The menu features a wide variety of American favorites, including, sandwiches, and pasta. There are limited vegetarian choices. All meals I have tried have been good, but the pasta tends to be either greasy, or bland, depending on the choice of sauce. Service is fast, friendly, and accomodating. Large portions of food at reasonable prices make eating at Moonlight a great value.
