Bootlegger Restaurant

I just wanted to say something about the service. my wife and I live in Leominster and go to Florida for a few months a year. We have been going to the Bootlegger for a very long time. We used to go there at least twice a week, but now maybe once a month. In the past 6 months, the service is still great, but now the staffing has changed alot and now it seems there is alot of younger, noncaring management. Before there was Angela, Sandy and Alan. This was a great team as they are older and caring. They always have a smile and you can tell that they are happy to see you. Now we go in there and there are younger people that just want to joke around with other staff members and have such a fake attitude. Alan the owner is great, but now you do not really see him as much. Angela and Sandy also. Sandy is the main reason that we still go there as her smile and friendliness are without a doubt true and you just get that welcome feeling.But She does not always work the nights that we used to go. Plus she is always out on the floor helping the wait staff. We have never seen anyone else help unless it was very busy. But now we go in and find that the younger "managers" are there to throw you in a seat with a almost fake attitude an smile. We do not even care to get the names of these people as they do not merit us knowing, but the short one with glasses needs to take a course or two. She states that she is a manager, but it is hard to tell. She is loud and very unprofessional. One night she was sitting at the bar while working with her friends not caring what went on with the place. Another time she was almost yelling at a waitress about a simple mistake that was made, when she is a waitress herself and not a great one at that. I cannot belive that this has happened in just a short period of time. I guess that you get what you pay for when it comes to help. It no longer feels like the Bootlegger there. It feels like walking into a fast food franchise. I hope changes are made soon as I am sure that during this economy....people want to be treated good, not as a number at a table.

My fiance and I have been eating here for some time, and I have never had a bad meal. The food is fresh, the specials creative, and the service is excellent. One of my favorites!

The bootlegger is my favorite restaurnt!!! I've been going there, since they opened, and the food there is soo delicious. My boyfriend and I test out a lot of restaurants, all over, and this is hand down, my all around favorite. The head Chef, Bill Nash, is an awesome chef!!! They just updated their menu. I love this place.
