I just have to say, I love this place. I went to Carl's this morning and apparently I got there about the same time as 20 other people. The staff were so quick to help everyone and take orders and the cook was so efficient in everything he was doing. I was sort of amazed by how well he was able to handle all of those orders at once. The waitress and the cook were both so nice. They have good quality food. I had the waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. The waffles were still nice and hot when I got them and the strawberries they use are quite good. Not all mushy like other places use. I also had bacon. It was good too. Overall I had a wonderful experience there as usual. I would highly recommend this diner to anyone. Just know that it is small (the way a classic diner usually is) and it tends to get busy on weekends so you might have to wait a few minutes for a seat if you go at prime time. Don't worry, a seat usually opens up rather quick.
Food is ok, portions are huge, and you can't beat dining in an old, dilapidated caboose. Sometimes there can be a wait, the place is very small, but it's great for a gigantic breakfast.
