Great Food, pleasant atmosphere, nice area. When you have the clam chowder in a bread bowl bring a doggy bag for the main entree cause you will be full!!
To whom it may concern:
My wife and I decided to go out for lunch after doing a bit of shopping while we were in Sturbridge, Ma. My Wife thought it would be nice to go to the Piccadilly Pub as we have been there many times before and as always it was a good choice to go for lunch, it may have been even beter this time as we had a Great Hostess ( Ashley ) and also a Great Waitress ( kerry ) to whom I said to her that she may not be rich in money but she was rich in personality to witch goes a long ways, at least in my world. I have been to lunch at many places in Sturbridge Ma. but Piccadilly Bub just might be my favorite place to eat.
Now that all of the above has been said I would like to say that the food was great as well and Lord willing we will return for lunch in the near future.
P.S.
When we arrived at the Pub it was pretty much full to capacity and yet there was no waiting, and again I would like to compliment
Ashley (hostess) and Kerry (waitress).
Thakyou so much.....AL.
Ate here Sept of 2007. A quaint restaurant with ample parking and plenty of seating. Booths and/or tables... Quite a large menu, covering all basic dishes. Seafood, chicken, steak, etc... I had fish and chips and started with their clam chowder, which was fantastic. Three cocktail shrimp were included, but were not very fresh. The entree fish filet was batter dipped Cod which was good, and well-sized. The french fries accompanying the meal were rather ordinary, but ok. Overall, highly recommended for the area. One note for beer drinkers: Try their Piccadilly Amber Ale. Tasty!
