User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI have lived in Upton for the past year and I totally agree with V ! I went to Jade Garden open minded as I love chinese and haven't found a good one around here. I will give it clean and cheap, thats it. It's tasteless and greasy and nothing to crave. I am really wondering if all those 4 and 5 star reviews are fake as I can not see anyone writing that. I mean yes, if you live and work down town and are the type to enjoy a quick greasy meal, great. But yummy? tasty? worth craving?...no way

As a frequent patron of Jade Garden, I can assure readers that V.agâs review is completely and entirely without merit. The Jade is a fantastic establishment that offers quality Asian food and a convenient location right in the center of town. The setting is comfortable, the service is friendly, and the food is quick and delicious. My favorite time to go is during midday, when the restaurant is quiet and I can relax while eating. Additionally, you get a lot for your money when you eat at Jade. The lunch menu offers 3 courses for under $6. Iâm currently a college student living in Boston, but I always enjoy eating at Jade during my summer and winter breaks.

It's hard to recognize how ANY one could say something nice about this place, unless they worked in the restaurant, owned it, or had taste buds which were completely shot.
This is, by far, the worst Asian food I have ever had. My husband and I tried it once when we moved to Upton, and have sworn off it ever since. The food tasted like dishsoap, was extremely greasy, overcooked and beyound bland.
Since this is one of the only (as in one of 3?) restaurants in this little town, we assume it's around because the people who live here are desparate and will accept just about anything from mediocre to downright bad.
I suspect a lot of old people frequent this place as it's at the center of town, where a lot of them can walk to it.
