I just needed to let it be known that in no way shape or form is this place run "military style". If you are on competition team then its your choice to be there and you are asking to be pushed to your full potential. If you dont like how its run then you can
A.) Try dancing competition at some other studios in the area...you will soon see that GDA is run well
B.) dont do competition team...the studio offers non competition classes. It is recreational and done for excercize and learning at a different level.

My kids have danced there for 3 years and they couldnt be happier with ther teachers and the classes they choose to take. I couldnt be happier with what they are learning, how they are treated and the prices arent bad either.

The recital this past weekend was amazing, they go above and beyond to make it fun for all. It didnt feel like I sat there for that long watching...I could have stayed much much longer!

Thank you so much for all you do! We look forward to re-registering in the fall

I could not be happier with the way that Greendale Dance Academy is run. The staff is patient, caring, and they truly care about the advancement of each child. The studio offers non-competition classes for the children that want to dance for fun and recreation. I like that they also offer competition classes, which are great for the dancers that want to make dance their primary extra-curricular activity and have the disipline to put in the time and effort it takes to compete. The children progress at their own rates and children are recognized and praised for their effort and their desire to do their best. There are so many different types of classes available that this one studio fits various needs and wants, like offering cheerleading, acrobatics, and toddler and preschool classes along with the usual dance classes. The tuition is extremely affordable and the owners truly try their best to keep expenses down for the parents. GDA is an extremely comfortable and down to earth studio and I cannot imagine my child dancing anywhere else!!!

Wow, my experience could not be more opposite of "ExDanceParent". I have two daughters. One on Competition and one non-comp. The staff is friendly and caring but they aren't afraid to push the kids to perform at their best. The recital this past weekend was nothing short of spectacular. My parents and my in-laws could not believe the difference between recitals with their other grandchildren and yours. You really know how to take it to a whole other level and the expressions on the kids faces show they are having a blast out on stage. The recital was very well organized and very entertaining. I couldn't ask for any more in a dance studio. Can't wait to see the video. My wife and I appreciate all your hard work. GREAT JOB!
