very nice: They have both the basic tex mex and some original menu items. It is BYOB and they are open late.
Pretty close to perfect for all groups: I've seen lovey dovey couples enjoying this place. I've brought family and groups of friends large and small. The place will at the same time be housing a family with children, a large group of college kids, and single diners. And everyone seems to have the same reaction: yum!
This is some flavorful mexican cuisine (and they will adjust the "heat level" to taste). I've tried a few things, but always go back to the fajita platter when dining in. It arrives sizzling heaped with freshly cooked meat and veggies, and a separate plate full of toppings, and yet another platter with the tortillas (if you've more than one person having this, good luck with table room!).
Oh, and the tortillas are delicious - they're made fresh on the premises, you can even stand outside the window and watch the tortillas being made.
We also often get the fajitas by the pound when we want to do take out - it's not quite as good as eating the fajitas in the restaurant, but good none the less.
Service is generally prompt and attentive. Prices just cannot be beat.
The only thing I can really find as a downside is that the tables are close together and small (and some share a long common booth type bench seat, so during busy times, you're pretty cozy with your neighbors).
