I have been a good tenant for the past year and a half. I have paid my rent on time every single month. Every. Single. Month. One month, I was charged double because my credit card and my bank account were both charged. I never filed a complaint or threatened legal action. On December 26th, my bank sent out the rent check, as they have in the past, to pay my rent for January. On the 14th of January I left to Denver on business. On the 20th, I came home to a very nasty letter titled "Notice To Quit." This letter was cruel and used complex legal jargon that alluded to the possibility that I would be evicted because apparently i apparently had failed "to pay rent on or before the first day of each and every month." I was extremely offended at this letter. Never once was I contacted (although my cell phone is on record at the office) about this issue. I had checked that the payment had in fact been delivered online. That is what i am responsible for. Cashing the check is THEIR responsibility. Due to my impeccable record and due to the fact that i have been double charged in the past without threatening legal action, I would have expected the community to approach me in a respectful way. Instead, I received a letter that contained a great deal of legal jargon that was both bold and capitalized. I do not deserve to be treated this way. I sent them the confirmation # for my check that was sent on 12/26 - which is obviously "on or before January 1st." I have had to place a stop order on the check and have hand-written a new check which i will have to waste my personal time and now deliver by hand because of your inability to cash the first one. I had a representative from Charles Schwab contact the community to confirm the details of my payment. Don't move here. A tenant who has never once been late on rent who never caused a complaint, who has great credit is treated like a criminal who is trying to slide by on rent. I will not be renewing my lease with a company that treats me this way.

Aside from financial, parking is a nightmare as there are no assigned spots. If you get here after 7 or 8pm, forget it. They also do not plow very well. Several times this winter I have had to drive out on solid ice.

The noise from downstairs is horrible on weekends. The base is up and was loud enough to ruin even a football game. I could feel the vibration through my loveseat.

As far as staff goes, I always feel like a number. The only good person they have on staff is Christine. Everyone else treats you like a rent check.

The moral of the story is that they treat you like a number, they don't care what you have done well in the past. They see everyone as a potential threat and they don't respect any of their customers. They treat customers extremely poorly. If you want to be respected as a good tenant or as a decent human being, this community is not for you.
