User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI lived a 2 minute walk from this place for 3 years - pre renovations. The food was good and the beer selection was great. Beer selection is still great, but what happened to the food??? Been here a few times since then and we were nickled and dimed for everything and the food...not good. We stopped going about a year ago but I would consider the Horseshoe for beer and apps.
Too many good pubs around to spend my $$ here.-

This place is great. I have been there at least once a month since moving to Hudson. They were sweet even to my messy eating 14 month old grandson. Sit outside when it's warm and don't be afraid to ask the waitstaff for what you need. Don't wait for them. You might grow old. But going out to eat should be a lingering experience, shouldn't it?
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIf I were writing the review based on food alone, I would give this place 5 stars. The food is delicious, the atmosphere wonderful (love the big, cozy booths), but I have to say that the service is the worst I've ever seen. I've been there 3 times, waited on by 3 different waitresses and still the service was bad. As long as you have time for a nice, leisurely 1-1/2 hour lunch, I recommend this place. Seriously, though, give them a try, but do everyone a favor and comment on the lack of service while walking out the door.
