As a former Impulse dancer myself, I have nothing but heartfelt admiration, praise and thanks for LuAnn and all of the staff at Impulse Dance Center. All of the students at Impulse are given the individual attention that a dancer needs to improve his/her craft. Due to the investment that each instructor has in their students, not one dancer finds their way into a class that is not a suitable level for their technique at that point in time. Age grouping has neither effect nor influence on where a dancer is placed. Having been at one point a fourteen year old in a class with eight year olds, I speak from experience. The dynamic at Impulse is one that can rarely be found in dance studios. The mix of people enrolled there who are dancing as a hobby and the many who are there in hopes of pursuing a professional career allow the classes to be fun and easy going when appropriate yet consistently challenging and educational. I have had the honor of taking class with and following the progress of many strong, well trained and beautiful dancers during my years at impulse and those that have since followed. If a dancer has the drive to become the best dancer they can be and still reaching further, I cannot think of a more equipped staff to help them in pursuing this. All of the instructors at Impulse have both the ability and passion for teaching their craft well. They are all kind, caring and talented. Amazing advice and lessons can be learned from the staff at Impulse for the dancer aspiring to be a professional. LuAnn has done an amazing job of building a studio that supplies dancers with a strong dance background, a dance education that they can be proud of and, even while conquering those feats, a staff and student body of people who care. Every penny that I ever put towards my dance education with Impulse paid me back twofold with the education that I received. LuAnn, one of the best teachers I’ve had, is able to teach both dance education as well as life lessons during the time that students spend at Impulse. For instance, responsibility. Be it as a child bringing forms home or as a teenager assisting classes, LuAnn helped to form me into the adult I am today during my dance education. LuAnn and her staff run a strong, professional studio that any dancer would be proud to go to and most importantly of all, where any dancer can have fun. Dancers who have graduated from Impulse, such as myself, have nothing to say to LuAnn and her staff but a sincere thank you.

As a former student of Impulse Dance Center i have gone on to enter a BFA dance program as well as a professional career in dance. I have danced at Impulse sense i was 4 and have recieved valuable training as well as crucial advice and support allowing me to thrive in such a cut throat career. This studio is great for a student who takes dance as just a hobbie or for the student who is pursuing dance as a career. Each member of the faculty has such an immense passion for dance and teaching that shows in each of their students. I highly recommend this studio.

Well,another fantastic show! I have to say that I am so impressed every year. I will have to admit that when my daughter started dancing 8 years ago, I was only interested in seeing her up there on that stage, but now I honestly can't wait for the show because I thoroughly enjoy watching all of the dancers. As each year passes, I see these young dancers grow in ability, strength, grace and talent. The instructors at Impulse are truely dedicated to the art of dance, and it is apparent when you watch the concert, and this year was no exception. This year was a year of transition as Luann welcomed new instructors on board. They all should be applauded for a job well done. I enjoyed seeing the new styles and choreography that they brought to the performance. I wonder about the review mentioning that LuAnn only offers one style of choreography that you see from year to year...Is this referring to the childs beginner class? This choreography would be very basic due to the fact that the kids are only 4 years old. If you would be willing to give it a chance, you too will notice the growth that comes from years of hard work and dedication. One thing that I have come to realize is that these children absolutely love being at this dance studio. You notice from year to year that they want to add classes into their already busy schedules. Clearly if they didn't love it they wouldn't strain themselves. So true, more classes may mean a longer show, but wouldn't you rather sit through a longer show where you are watching kids who love what their doing, who push themselves to be the best that they can be or watch a shorter show that doesn't recognize the true talent of their dancers. I also like to mention the class assistants, girls that are hard working, great students, and wonderful role models for the younger dancers. I personallly find that Luann and her instructors are very helpful and organized. LuAnn sends information home in a very timely manner, and correspondence by email has only made it that much easier. There is alot of info, but the only ones that have a problem with it are those who don't read it thoroghly. LuAnn has worked extremely hard over the years to fine-tune this studio into a fabulous place for kids and young adults to discover their love of dance. Without LuAnn's dedication, there could possibly be a bunch of kids out there who wouldn't have a clue as to how talented and special they really are! KUDO'S to all at Impulse.
