User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI saw Maureen the women are all very very friendly however I had a blonde partial already and I decided to go all blonde I wish she had just said she would have been unable to do it because I ended up leaving with what she called "warm blonde" but was ORANGE. She tried again to fix it and said that my hair wouldn't except the color which is not true I have been blonde before...So basically it was a terrible and cost me $130 she still charged me full price to have orange hair. NOT WORTH IT!!!

This is a great salon! I moved to Burlington from Cambridge and was accustomed to getting my hair done on Newbury so I thought that it would be hard to find another salon. Socias is just as good if not better than the salons on Newbury. They are great with cuts, color and eyebrow waxing. The staff is nice and professional. I am so happy that I found this salon :)
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsSave your money!: This Salon is great IF you like being treated like a second class individual. I went to Socia's several times and although the hair cuts were 'pretty good', what keeps people coming back is professionalism and respect. I tend to tip very well when I get my hair cut and it is done well. In this case, I always tipped at least 100% of the total of the bill. However, even after building a professional relationship with the people at Socia's, and having long conversations with the owner, who cut my hair for over six months, she still could not remember my name when I would stop in to make an appointment! Where I come from, that is simply unacceptable. Even worse, the staff likes to just "stare" at you while you are waiting for your appointment. Didn't they ever hear of simply smiling, and sayinh "hello" rather than giving intimidating looks to their clients? In short, this Salon is not even close to the type of profossional establishment that successful people deserve. If you care about how you are treated, then you will not do business with Socia's.
