   MorePhilosophy and Vision Our philosophy at ICCC is to provide a loving healthy environment in which children may grow and develop a strong sense of self. It is our primary goal to provide the children with the love, security, nutrition and challenging activities they need to learn. Children learn best when they feel safe and loved by those caring for them, and are able to freely and confidently explore the world around them. I t is our belief that parents are the children's first teachers and their preschool should be an extension of the home. The staff at ICCC also believes that education is a key to success. We believe that children learn through play and base our program on this. We also recognize that children learn at different rates and in different ways so we provide diversity to accommodate this. Our vision is that one day every child will have access to high quality early childhood education to start their academic career off on the right foot. We strive to make a positive impact on the community by providing children with their jump start to success. ICCC wants our teachers to be seen as the high quality early childhood professionals they are. We do this by staying up to date on all trainings, college courses and the Director staying up to date on what is going on in the early childhood community and keeping the staff informed. Less
