User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWatch out! We purchased a per person price for wine and beer and to our horror, this venue also offered mixed drinks for $7 per, plus they put up a tip box! Clearly, we overpaid, since the cash bar mixed drinks reduced the amount of wine and beer consumed. And, our guests paid for their mixed drinks! We would have saved money with an open bar that included all selections. If you want wine and beer only, don't let Groveland talk you into also offering a cash bar for mixed drinks. The sound system for music was good, but for announcements it was terrible! Otherwise, the venue is pretty and the staff attentive. They did anything we asked. I just wish we had not been taken at the bar!

I recently attended a wedding at Groveland Fairways and was amazed! They have done a complete make-over. It is so beautiful and tastefully decorated. There is even a brides private room! The entrance is large and grand and allows for wheelchair access which was nice for the bride's grandmother. It sits on a golf facility (not used during events I am told). The rolling greens go on forever. There was even a deer in the background. The wedding was under this huge tent. Everything was perfect. I checked out the function room as well. It is perfect. There is a fireplace, beautiful bar, dance floor... you name it! Oh, and the food! I have been to tons of weddings and events and when I get married, I am getting married there.

Hey there, I agree. I went there and I loved it. Loved the golf, the room the plans for the outside bar - patio and everything. This will be the hottest place ever. Dave
