Berkley Auto School: AMAZING PLACE! The teachers are very good, they help you out and they are very clear and encouraging! This is an excellant school and they make you feel confident behind the wheel and help you understand the rules of the road. You are tought to drive safley and have fun! Its a little costly but it is worth it to have a school where you feel like your life is not in your hands, they make you feel incrediably safe. PSST shout outs to Roland
They helped me get my license!: I took 4 individual driving lessons from another school before going to Berkeley Auto School. While Berkeley was slightly more expensive than my first school, it was well below the cost of other schools I contacted in the area - and well worth the little extra money! My first school didn't really teach me much, so starting with Berkeley was like starting from scratch; I took another 5 lessons with Berkeley. In a matter of a month, my instructor helped me become a really safe driver, pointing out every single detail that the state trooper conducting my future road test would notice and pass/fail me. He was always on time and dropped me back at home on time; I always got the full hour that I paid for. He scheduled my road test for me, sponsored me, and allowed me to use the school car to take the test. He took me for a "warm-up" immediately before the test so that I wouldn't be nervous and forget everything I learned during the test. According to him, road tests take about an average of 12 minutes for his students to complete, although they are allotted 20 minutes; I completed my test in 12 minutes. I was really confident in that my instructor would prepare me for the test, and he was confident in me that I would pass it. Now I can drive! Yay!!!
