Me and my sister walk down here from school, and we have lived here for ever!! tomorrow im walking therewith my friends.
Ryers used to be a small white shack in the middle of town, no one used to go there.
Now, they re-did it, and its hUGE!!
its a big red building, with flowers lining the stairs to the door. they always have pik-nik tables and bike parking spaces, for anyone to come inside. Now that it is redone, it is beautiful and attracting.
Ice cream is amazing, and yoy can get everything you need here. smack-dab in the middle of town, and everyone knows where it is.
"hey Charlie wanna go to ryers with me?
    " yeah sure"
everyone knows where it is, and always wants to go.
I always keep money in hand, just in case i want to stop by to say hello to the employs and grab a snack with my friends.
you can always find candy and buy a lunch if u forgot yours.
Its very nice in there and you always want to go back!!!

Beautiful, clean, great selection. The new store is stocked full of all you can imagine (food, candy, prepared foods, ice cream, and more). You can order breafast, lunch and more. They make subs, and pub foods on site. They serve the best ice cream (Richardson's). Not so friendly staff aren't quick to serve you are seem interested in their friends who come in (grown adults), but once you get their attention they are friendly and attentive. They have candy of all sorts, a great selection of beverages (alcohol and soft drinks, juice etc). The salad bar has a small selection, great hot soup, and other items you wouldnt find in any other convience store. Surprising what you can find in a small store. It is clean - people eat in or out. Still the same ol store - friendly towners picking up the paper and regulars that make you feel like your home! Welcome to North Reading - Grab it at Ryers!

Ladybug, I agree with you. I have lived in town for over 30 years and have seen many changes. Ryers was always the top spot and now this beautiful store has given the center of town a great welcome. I pass everyday with a smile. North Reading thanks Mark Hall and all family and friends.
