My son has been a patient since November at TH. I can't say enough good things about the people who work there. From the sign-in desk in the lobby, to the check-in people on the 5th floor, not to mention the caring nurses, doctors and social workers, occupational therapists, there is an atmosphere of dedication and caring. And I was impressed with the cleanliness as well. I also attended the recent open house at the Rehab Center and I found it uplifting and very encouraging. To have a family member with mental illness is a sometimes devastating feeling, but to see his/her in a place that understands and really is trying to get his/her well is very reassuring. My son was previously in another MA hospital and his experience was entirely the opposite. I feel hopeful about his future for the first time.
