    All of the staff at Best Friends is pleasant and the facility is very clean and staff appears to truly love animals. The problems we experienced are that the staff is not trained to understand or required to learn about dog behavior(s). They do not know how to recognize and deal with dogs that may be stressed or how to properly greet a new dog for the first time. They also hire staff that might be afraid of larger dogs or those stereotyped as stronger breeds. The dogs sense this instability and fear setting the dog up for failure with their program. Also, their pricing structure is not flexible if you using the daycare/camp for multiple dogs. There is no discount for multiple dogs or credit if a ½ day is used when you have paid for a full day. The Tyngsboro facility does not have any outdoor runs for the dogs. The dogs remain indoors the entire day. Since they are indoors all day if it is necessary for them to relieve themselves, they do it inside. This can be very confusing to a puppy/dog that has house training issues. I cannot comment on the boarding and/or grooming since I have had very limited or no experience with those services.

    A wonderful place for our dachsie to spend a few days! Becky is just super with our little guy!

    Waiting for appointment: I really enjoy the staff and groomers.They are so nice and carring to me and my pet. I only wish they had more groomers.It has been so hard to get my pet in for a appointment at a reasonable time.Booking 2-3 weeks out is not good and i can't always book ahead some times when you pick up it is so bussy you just want to run out.
