User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsexpensive: For what you get the ice cream is over priced. They have a average ice cream, not a overly larger serving for the price. Did have a good flavor but not as rich as other places that have a better price and serving.

benson's has incredible ice cream and it is moderately priced. the helpings are always substantial. a half single at benson's is equal to a regular scoop at its competitors. the ice cream IS RICH and FLAVORFUL. benson's is the only destination for our family when we want great ice cream.
I went there as a kid when I was at Camp Rotary in the 70's and it was always fabulous. I have returned recently and it was even better than I remembered. Huge servings, excellent ice cream and great service. Sorry Hank's experience wasn't as good...
