I had a "kid's size" portion, and it was enough for two people!! I think this is one of the best ice cream places that I've ever been to, and I highly recommend it! It was very smooooooooooth, creamy, and delectable.
WOS! This place has grown so much! Yes it is crowded, yes the lines are long, but when you get the ice cream you know it it more than worth the wait. My comapany had a corporate event here and all I can say is fantastic! The contact person was a delight to work with, the event went off great! Everyone in the office is still talking about the great food, beautiful golf course, (yes...there were lines), fun bumper boats and fabulous time at the Driving Range -- the ice cream was something made from dreams! Rich, creamy, and amazing taste! Great time, worth the wait, worth the lines and the rest! Go to Kimbal Farm -- run, don't walk!
Kimball's is a definite New England gem: This place just goes to show you that when it comes to ice cream, we really can't be beat. Yes, it's buggy when it's really hot outside because it's the suburbs and woodsy, and it's busy because their ice cream is the stuff of daydreams, but it's worth the little annoyances that you'll find anywhere... one flavor comes to mind - their German chocolate cake. I forget about the other things people complain about when I have it. What bugs? What lines? ;) They have a fun mini-golf (and I hate mini-golf, but I'll play it there :)) course which is actually two courses, a driving range, gift shop, petting area with goats and whatnot, bumper boats, and two huge parking lots. Those 3 or 4 million dollars were put to very good use. I always look forward to going to Kimball's in Summer :)
