    I love this store! Old fashioned customer service, great products, super sales staff and a great environment to just shop. I am tired of the huge superstores where no one even looks at you when you are trying to find something.

    Shop local and keep this store in Westford.

    I never found the prices at McKay to be that different from those at Home Depot. Regardless, it is worth a small increase for the the one-on-one service you get in the store. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. And they almost always have exactly what I need.

    The Truth is in the middle: MacKay's is a great resource when you are in a pinch to get something, but you're going to pay for it. The staff are very helpful and the variety of items is extensive. Its only drawback, per "Westford Pricing Policy" is that EVERYTHING is significantly upcharged and costly. HomeDepot is better price-wise and via selection if you have time to go there (Rt. 38 exit off of Rt. 495North from Westford), otherwise MacKay's will help you in a pinch.
