User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhat a great pub!!! This is what a pub should be! I go at LEAST once a week. Fantastic burgers and the oter food is good too. Add a cold beer and I'm set!

Great food, great music. 1st Floor has bands. 2nd has nice restaurant and bar. 3rd has quaint comfortable bar and restaurant set up like a fireplaced living room.

This is a keeper (and our personal local favorite): ALWAYS have a great meal and wonderful T&Ts when we're at the Grog. Hubby is a former Newburyport resident, so he introduced me to it. The staff is always great, the seafood (and all the dishes, for that matter) are fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I can't wait for winter to go in, out of the cold, and enjoy some wonderful Grog grub while we're enjoying the beautiful Town of Newburyport!!
