Check your oil filter!! I went to get a oil & filter change. When I got home I checked my filter. They never changed it!! They charged me and gave me a sorry excuss when I went back to show them. I will never go back!! They never gave me a refund and they made it seem like it was no big deal. Your better off going to jeffylube if we need honest service!!
Great people doing great work!: I've been going to Charlie's tire for service for over ten years, and I've never been disappointed. They always do reliable work, for reasonable prices, and are very quick. Highly recommended.
stay away -- stay far far away from this place: My daughter (20 yrs old) brought her car to Charlies Tire for brake work. They said that her rear brakes and left front tie rod needed replacing. After we picked up the car (THE FIRST TIME) we were driving down the highway and when we tried to brake, the whole front end of the car shook. We brought the car back to be told that her front brakes needed to be done. Two days after we got the car back, my daughter left to go back to college. While driving down the highway, she smelled something burning and felt a weird sensation in the front end. Then her tire blew up on the highway. She had to replace the tire. When she went back onto the highway, she started getting the same smell/sensation again. She brought the car to a mechanic who said that her calipers were bad, and this caused her tire to blow up. Charlies tire said that they do not replace the calipers on brake jobs, and that only 1 in 100 calipers need to be changed (btw- the car has over 100K miles on it). Of course they deny any wrong doing, but I will never go back to this place. They seem to hire alot of high school grads, and I don't think they have the experience that they need.
