We stayed with our 12 year old daughter one night. It was alot of fun with the house full of history and the owner full of interesting stories. dont expect a grand breakfast, but do expect an entertaining hostess who has a sharp wit and interesting outlook on life. Is she a witch ? I don't think so, but there were interesting books with cryptic message we found up in our room. We stayed in the grand room which worked out fine with our daughter in the adjoining room. Amazing huge fireplaces in most rooms, where you can just image a huge cauldron cooking some stew or other thing of witching brews. Even if only for 1 night, its worth it to stay in a place reeealy different. Get away from those marriots or hotel 9 and visit a place that puts you back in history. To tell you the truth, I was a bit creeped out by the fact that we were staying in such an old historic house. It was clean enough, but being surrounded by antiques was quite a unique experience. If you are the type that needs a hospital sanitized environment, you may not be comfortable, but if you are the adventuresome type, you may just love this place. --
