I was out for a bike ride with a friend and we went cruising through the North End. We rode down Hanover Street and contemplated the restaurants there - we needed something a little more casual. We stumbled across Pushcart and it was just perfect! We each had a slice - the pizza was excellent! It was a nice little place with a friendly guy at the bar (Angelo?) and a very attentive waitress. Plenty of sports on the TVs and cold beer - what more could you ask for?! I highly recommend Pushcart - you won't be disappointed!

I work downtown and like to haunt little out-of-the way, unassuming places and give them a try. I ducked into this place for a quick slice one day and I met Angelo. What a friendly guy! He was more than accomodating, serving me a huge slice (delicious!) and a cold beer and some of the best conversation I'd had in a long time. I met Jerry Disco, a local construction laborer, who had great things to say about Angelo and the Pushcart...definitely a hidden jewel and definitely worth the trip :)

After a hard day at work, this is a great place to go relax and unwind. The pizza is excellent, great drinks and the atmosphere make you feel right at home. I can bring my friends to sit and watch the game, have a slice and drink a glass of wine.
I am not one for bars, but Pushcart has such a homely feel and friendly staff. I can also order a pie and take it home on those days I don't feel like cooking.
