The rating is for the combination of decent food and nice service. Ordered late night carry out - the carry out folks were very nice, the Baked Ziti was very good, and the carry out came with all you need including decent bread. No complaints!
Great Food: Lots of food for great price...
My Grandfather Would Be Proud!: There's not a bad thing I can say about Maggiano's. Outside of the North End, this is a completely authentic Italian restaurant...down to the plates of olive oil that are used to dip your bread in.
We had the calamari and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers, and it seemed like we couldn't get enough of either. Two of us got Chicken Marsala, one got Chicken Saltimbocca, one got Beef Cannelloni and the other got Garlic Shrimp Linguine.
We were stuffed, and it was the most satisfying meal I've had at a restaurant in a long while.
Maggiano's is in the theatre district...right across the street from The Boston Park Plaza hotel. If you have the chance to go, I highly recommend it.
Mangiare!!
