Warning this bar/lounge no longer allows smoking indoors, and has stopped selling cigars!! A big disappointment.

A definite for any Special Occasion: Whether you're in town on business, vacation, or pleasure, no matter your style and appetite; The Oak Room is a must. For any man, woman or teen who appreciates the qualities of fine dining; ambiance and food alike, the Oak Room is the place to realize what it means to have a fabulous and memorable dining experience. An experience to say the least, the food is beyond excellent. Starting with the appetizers, which I might add are delectable, the main course; the most exquisite presentation and taste which my palate has ever had the means to enjoy, which leads me to drink- which at this point a smooth bottle of excellent wine would definitely complete any mans definition of a “perfect” delectable meal. As I have been only once, which is to say a negligible amount of times that I would like to be required to attend to give an adequate review of, so I will say I can promise you this, I will be back to The Oak Room. I will say, in more than a mere personal opinion; that in New England, The Oak Room is “The best dining experience” had by yours truly and to say I have been in quite a few establishments like this is to say the least. I do for a fact know quality, quantity, ambiance, and location, along with many other essential qualities are required of such Experiences, and the Oak Room has them within a tight grasp. As I mentioned a “definite for any Special Occasion” is once again an understatement. Anniversaries, Elder Birthdays, or even if you desire a magical night in the Heart, and City of Boston; the Oak Room is the place to kick it off.

Great piano bar: Highly recommend stopping at the bar before or after dinner. One of the best martinis!
