I ate at the bar - maybe that was a mistake. The food was very good, but it took a while to get my meal (maybe because I was at the bar?). The polenta with my veal chop was creamy - never had it like that before and I am not sure I want it that way again. Cappuccino was great!
Nowhere else but Union for Brunch from now on!!: Hold your horses! Before heading out that door on Sunday morning for Brunch, you better make sure it's Union. Plan ahead because you'll need reservations to sample their amazing brunch menu and service. Oh, the service, you ask? So impressive that I've made the decision never to go anywhere else again! An example: before our meal came, one of my friends had to get up to go to the restroom. He carefully placed his napkin in the chair and went on his way. Immediately after he left, our waitress came over, picked up his napkin, refolded it and placed it on the table. It's really nice to finally go somewhere where you can really appreciate good service. The price was I felt a little low, especially for the WONDERFUL food that we received. Everything is cooked to perfection and very beautifully arranged on your plate. Give Union a try and I promise you will not be let down!
Excellent Brunch and Dinner: I have gone here many, many times and the service has ALWAYS been phenominal and the food excellent. Brunch is supurb, and a decent value. Dinner is a bit pricey, but is still very good. I am there often and love it.
Great Food, Superb Drinks, Perfect Atmosphere: It's tough to find something negative to say about Union. The food is fantastic and rarely misses. Don't miss the appetizers, especially the ribs. The desserts are also worth the extra calories. The drinks are fabulous, including the wine selection and martinis. If you like espresso martinis, Union's ranks among the best in town.
Don't miss the brunch, as it could certainly be the best in town.
