About:Dining without utensils is the rule at Addis Red Sea a South End eatery. The rich Ethiopian stews and other aromatic dishes are meant to be enjoyed with injera , a spongy flatbread perfect for soaking up every tasty tidbit. The atmosphere here is dim and exotic in a romantic way. Locals crowd around tiny woven tables and share bottles of mead. The inexpensive dishes are also meant for sharing, and the selection is sure to please carnivores and vegetarians alike. You may also enjoy a glass of wine or beer with your selections.

Different! But in a GOOD way!: This is a very unique experience. I loved eating with my hands. The food is served in a traditional manner, all in one plate, over "rice bread." - Want to feel closet to friends and family? Take them here. Eating with hands, from the same plate is so romantic and intimate. The food varies greatly in taste, so I had a ton of fun experimenting. The Ethiopian sweet wine was a must. Not for everyone though - you have to feel comfortable eating with your hands and from the same plate as your guests. Excellent place for an intimate date and an adventure.

Wonderfully new dining experience!: Eating at an Ethiopian restaurant is such a wonderful change of pace. It's a unique atosphere, a unique menu, and a unique way of eating. Everything I've tried here was delicious and didn't require one bit of "taste bud reprogramming", if you know what I mean. You'll love Addis Red Sea!!!
