Real Pro Rehab Inc. And Gregory Robinson, Sr. poor construction, unprofessional, unreliable Mattapan/Canton Massachusetts

Real Pro Rehab, Inc. makes makes money by providing low, affordable quotes to its clients and then, through a series of extraordinarily high 'change orders', exceeds the price quoted exponentially. Further, the workmanship is deplorable. Uneven floors, walls and chipping paint. When questioned, Mr. Robinson will simply stop working until he is paid (and the payment clears), leaving the home owner in dire straights.

The workmanship is poor. Mr. Robinson is a licensed builder, but he doesn't do majority of the work. His team does most of the work, but it is unprofessional and sloppy. The project which was supposed to take 3 months, took over a year, at such time, Mr. Robinson and his team simply stopped working.

RealPro Rehab uses inferior products (wood, paint, plaster), thereby creating an inferior building. Painted surfaces were chipping off within months of application. Outside siding was not incomplete. Wooden floors are uneven and are separating within the first year. Walls are uneven (leading to a problem installing new cabinetry). Tiles are wobbly and uneven. Floor surfaces from room to room do not meet. Floors are not straight. Wooden surfaces are not smooth and must be sanded. The deck was built on a slant, leaning away from the house and the boards were installed upside down, so that water collects in the wooden planks whenever it rains. The basement has a water problem as well because the addition was not sealed to the house properly.

With 80% of the work done and only a small final payment due, Mr. Robinson understood that there would be no more change orders accepted. Knowing the homeowner believes that his workmanship is inferior and is unhappy, Mr. Robinson simply stopped showing up at the house to finish the work. Rather, he hired an attorney to put a mechanic's lien on the house and to try to get the final payment from the home owner, even though the work was incomplete. Needless to say, the lien was rejected.

Mr. Robinson left this homeowner with an unfinished project and property in a hazardous condition. He left nails, tools, bails of hay with stakes through them and truckloads of wood and other building debris. The homeowner has had to spend thousands of dollars, just to clean up the mess and fix some of the major construction issues.

Real Pro Rehab, Inc. simply costs too much. The pain in dealing with Mr. Robinson, the building process, and fixing all of the construction problems afterwards are truly financially and psychologically taxing.
