| About: | Conveniently located across from Forest Hills Station and a short walk from Arnold Arboretum, the Dogwood Cafe is a laid-back pub and restaurant with a neighborhood feel. The thick cherry bar, local art and low lighting lends a cozy feel. The respectable draft beer selection, the competent bartenders and the reasonably-priced martini and drink list make this a great off-night hangout. Friday and Saturday nights bring low-key live acoustic musicians. The menu features fairly standard American and pub fare, with a good selection of burgers and appetizers. More impressive is the brick-oven pizza, which is hailed by the some as the best of Boston. Brunch is served on weekend mornings. - Anais Wheeler |

Great Beer Selection, Great Pizza: Dogwood has a great selection of thin crust specialty pizzas that are cooked in wood burning ovens. They complement their food menu with great beer offerings both on tap and bottle. If you're looking for something other than pizza and beer, you have plenty of typical pub options including salads, burgers, steak/chicken/fish entrees as well pub staples, buffalo wings and fingers, skins, calamari and dang quesadillas.
Great Pizza, great ambiance.: Nice and simple, but great food.
