I was very happy with the service when I got my car (about 2 1/2 years ago). Lately everything seems to be about meeting a sales quota rather than customer satisfaction. I was taking my car there thinking that a certified dealer is always a smarter option than taking it to your local technician. I end up paying lots of money and same had the same problems persisting. And in the end of the day dealing with a big guy with a bigger attitude named John that lectures you on different things after you already spend $1300. My next car will be a Volvo but definitely not from this place. Sorry..
Totally unprofessional: Took my volvo in to have the brake lights fixed (some electrical problem). Upon leaving, problem recurred. Took it back, same thing. Took it back, and the failure light on the dash was finally gone. Drove straight to the inspection station, and was told that I had ***no*** brake lights at all. Volvo village let me drive off with no brake lights! And then argued with me when I asked for a refund. Absolutely the WORST.
Good (for a car dealer): We bought our car there 3 yrs ago. The salesperson was personable and helpful, although we had to look up some nitty-gritty questions on the Web. They've been professional and reliable in our service visits.

I had my 1st Volvo there serviced...then my engine belt started whistling...brought it back and they said "oh, somebody forgot to screw the coolant cap and it was spilling". Of course they were the only ones to go down there! The brought my parent XC90 there for a regular service - which included the very very elementary washer fluid check, and approx. 1.5-2 weeks later the car ran out of washer fluid...apprently they didn't check that item - one of 5 on the list! Some diligence! Then when I was turning in my 1st Volvo at the end of the lease, I had the regular service, inc oil change, again...two weeks later an independent inspector came and examined the car...all was good except the engine oil was dirty! Fortunately Boston Volvo explained that on turbos oil is always darker and thicker (this was a low pressur turbo)...and so it is ok that it looked much older and more dirty than the oil in my father's 1990 Chevy Astro Van with 200,000 miles on it. So what now? I am afraid to go and have the 15,000 service because I think they are just going to charge me $300+ and do a very sloppy job. And yet some how they have all these awards and certificates displayed on the walls...
