Good food, but very noisy.: My wife and I went back for a return visit some months after we had a nice dinner with her parents. The food and price are really excellent, the baked lamb was a plateful of heaven for a little over $10.
However, the ambiance is lacking. The first time we sat as a foursome in a window booth, which was at least comfortable. Last time we were seated near the back of the main dining room next to the beer cooler and fan at a little two person table. It was very noisy, hard to hear and becaome very distracting and stressful for both of us. The waitress, even though she was nice enough, was inattentive and had a blase` attitude--you could tell both waitresses (only 2) were running pretty hard and not in very good humor.
Go for the food, not the atmosphere.
