User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe Apartment Experts": I responded to an internet advertisement for an apartment rental, and was contacted by a member of The Apartment Experts". After a short discussion, he stated that he had a unit that fit my description, and set up an appointment for viewing. After negotiations over rent, I agreed to take the unit, and went to sign the lease and write the cheques for safety deposit and first month rent. At the end, the agent stated that I then needed to write a cheque to his agency for $3000 broker fee. That fee was never mentioned up to that point in time. I felt very used with this deceitful practice.
