First we ordered their margarita, assured that it was excellent with their home made lemon lime mix. Well, it was straight lemon and lime juice, and barely any tequila. It was undrinkable. When, I mentioned that it was awful, she agreed to take it back, brought me some other cocktail that was tasty, but the margarita was still on the bill. The menu lacked anything of value on it, the $11 double cheese burger was literally 2 walmart special burgers with cheddar and the bacon was fatty and soggy. My wife had the $17 mac & cheese, yeah $17 mac and cheese, no lobster, just a little bit of bacon bits. Not worth $5 let alone $17. That was also terrible. The service lacked, as soon as we orderd a drink, the waitress came over and took our drink menus away. Why? I have no idea, since they do have a nice cocktail selection, and an obscure beer menu. Since she took it away, I decided to stick with water. Overall, it was an awful dining experience. The cocktail menu was nice, just stay away from the margarita unless you want heartburn. The beer selection, although vast, didn't have a great variety, and too was pricey. Word of advice is to save your money if you want good food, not the place to go.
My friend and I used to frequent the Green Street Grill fairly often, but got out of the habit. About two weeks ago, we decided to go again. I understand it has changed hands sometime in the recent past. Well, I tried to let this go...but two weeks later I'm still thinking about it...so I have to write. First I ordered a Bloody Mary...after a while the waiter came back to the table and informed that they didn't have any tomato juice...sorry! (There was a little market across the street. Couldn't someone have run out for a bottle of tomato juice?) Then we ordered their cheese burger from the menu. I wanted my medium well...I don't care for pink hamburger. I was informed that they only cook them medium...that was the only choice. Please. This is a well known restaurant. Can't I get a little service here?
