funky: Great experience. She fixed a bad haircut.
Friendly, funky, and fun: I've been flying back to San Francisco every six months to get my haircut (among other things - I'm not that obnoxious!), and this time I decided I would try the funky looking Judy Jetsons instead of flying across country.
My stylist was really nice, asked a lot of questions, and gave me a fantastic haircut. She seemed to understand my hair in a way that few stylists do (I have really thick wavy bushy 80s hair) and didn't make me look like tennis ball head.
Later that evening, I saw a few other stylists from Judy Jetsons at the B-sides Lounge. They came up to my table to talk to us and ooh-ed and ahh-ed about my new hair cut. I thought that was really nice and unexpectedly friendly of them. I will definitely go back. Sorry Hairplay in SF!
I just keep going back!: I have lived in Boston for five years. Before that, I had one person cut/color/style my hair in my 21 years of existence. I was so afraid to try someone/something new, especially when it came to my hair. I love Judy Jetson. Anyone who wants Newbury St. or Aveda quality without all the pretentiousness, go to Judy Jetson! I love it and haven't gone anywhere else since!
