It was crowded and noisy..but food was good except the fried rice my husband orded was full of MSG and greasy. The service was horrible. My waitress kept soliciting me to order meat dishes. (I don't eat meat) Just because I didn't order meat dish, the waitress didn't return to our table until we had to have bill.
On top of it, I found rashes all over my body when I returned to my hotel. I will never go back to that restaurant again. I didn't like the noise level as well as the service.
Very good Korean barbecue, the marinated meats are really flavorful. The sides weren't too spicy, even though they looked really spicy. The restaurant was packed for dinner on a weekend, but was nice and mellow for a weekend lunch. The service was pretty good for an authentic Asian establishment.
My only suggestion for improvement is that the portions could be bigger. For $20 per person, they could increase the serving size, but that's what you'd pay at a Japanese teppan place so their pricing isn't too outrageous.
A regular fix!: I *love* Koreana. Not only do they have yummy Korean barbecue you can grill yourself at your table with a smokeless grill (so you don't leave smelling like your dinner!), but there is the little known fact that their sushi is perhaps the best in all of Boston. Add on top of it that their interior decoration is cozy but modern, and I have to go there at least once every couple of weeks. But make sure to make a reservation on weekend nights - it gets really crowded.
