Wok N' Roll Delivered!: I didn't actually go to this place to eat, but had them deliver instead. The good thing was, it didn't take them an hour like some places, but the bad thing was they charge for delivery. I know it's minimal... but then i hate to add a tip on it, cuz isn't that why they're charging for delivery? Anyway.. go pick up if you're like me.
As for the food... I got the dinner combo, and i must say i was surprised. The combo includes, soup, appetizer, rice and entree.
First off, it's the only place I've found that lets you choose wonton soup. And then you have a choice of 4 options for appetizer. I got the Crab Rangoon. I figuered it would be one of those styrofoam boxes filled with everything i ordered. It wasn't!!
Of course the soup was separate, but i got 2 pieces of Crab Rangoon. Fried rice good for 2, and a full size Mongolian Beef. The Soup wasn't so good. I've always had wonton soup with pork... but i think there's was shrimp... if it's not.... I don't want to know why it tasted like shrimp. Then.. the dough part wasn't quite all cooked! =\ The Crab Rangoon was a disappoinment as well... but at par with most cheap places. Mostly cheese 2 specks of "crab." I guess I've been spoiled by the Sichuan Garden.
Over all, the food's good for the price. I didn't get sick! Oh! and i'd reccommend ordering the dinner combos. And i know I'm def going back.
Great Food at the Wok n Roll...: .. DON'T be scared of the neon Sign! The Wok n Roll is a great chinese food restaurant. I was with a friend and we were going out to eat. We orginally passed on the Wok n Roll, but later decided to take a chance. The inside of the restaurant is cute, they added ethnic flare to it that you would not expect from the look on the outside. It is decorated like you are eating outside in China.
The man, who I believe runs the restaurant, was nice enough to sit us when it was close to closing. He was a great server and did not rush us at all.
The Food was wonderful, I would say this is the best chinese place around. In additio to eating in the restaurant you can have it delivered, or you can get carry out. The only downfall is that they do close earlier than most other places in the area. You would have to check to see the exact hours of operation.
So in closing...don't be scared off by the neon sign! I highly recommend the Wok n Roll for great chinese.
