Great: CBC was great. I highly recommend you get pizza there with their awesome nachos as an appetizer. We had the lamb sausage and gouda cheese pizza, the sicilian trio, and a veggie pizza, all with the dough made with barley which actually compliments the beer. You can buy a fountain/tower of beer with your own spout that won't last long as soon as you find out how good the beer is. My favorite was a light beer with a golden colored texture. At first when you walk in it seems like the place is better suited to a cafe or a coffee house but you soon find out it is a great place for food, conversation and of course BEER. To get there from the Redline in Boston get off at Kendall and walk North. You will walk throught the Marriot and than turn left towards Kendall Square.
The Best Burgers in Boston!: I love the CBC! It's the hidden treasure of Kendall Square. The atmosphere and service of the restaurant are excellent. Not to mention the beers and burgers. I went there with my boyfriend to get a quick bite before a movie and we've been hooked ever since. The CBC has truly created 'beer cuisine'. Their burgers are the fillet mignon of burgers. They are tender, juicy and delicious and even better, they're cheap! The blackened chicken sandwich is also tasty and for those who want spicier food there's the amazing buffalo chicken appetizer.
If you're not in the mood for bar food there's also intriguing adventurous specials for every day of the week and a full menu that has a variety of meals, all with suggestions for the beer that compliments the meal.
Obviously, since its a microbrewery the beer selection is primo. The CBC rotates their seasonal beers and has a permanent selection of some of their more famous blends. Each beer is distinctive and exciting. Being a smaller restaurant, they can't boast quantity (like say the Boston Beer Works or the Sunset Cafe) but they can boast quality in their beer.
Also, when you go I recommend ending the night with their Porter ice cream. It may sound a little strange but trust me, its absolutely delicious!
Best burgers and beer in town: I love going to this place before catching a movie at Kendall cinema. The burgers are divine and the microbrews change according to the season.
