| About: | The sign for this restaurant is visible as soon as you step out of the subway station at Davis Square . This eatery is one of the most recognizable landmarks of the Davis landscape. Inside, there's a brightly-lit dining area with linoleum flooring. Plenty of tables are scattered around the sizable interior. The pizzas here are big and good, as are the steak subs and sandwiches. One favorite is the chicken sandwich which is grilled with a slight barbecue taste. There are also several pasta dishes and a huge beer selection. |

User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI'm not sure if I showed up on a bad day, or if the lady at the cash register had just experienced some personal tragedy. But man was she grumpy.
When I arrived, the restaurant was almost empty. It was around 3:45 pm on a Monday. Clearly between meal times.
The pizza slices were $2 something each. Since I didn't see any fresh pizzas lying around, I figured they'd have to heat up my request.
So I asked, "How big is a slice of pizza?"
Simple question, really. I just wanted to know whether I should order one slice or two.
Dismissive response: "It's a slice of pizza."
"But how big?" I make a hand gesture guessing the size.
Said with a snarl and a look of disdain: "Whats the matter? You never seen a slice of pizza before?"
This was going nowhere fast. "I don't need the attitude."
The lady throws her hands in the air as I walk away. She mutters something to the older man also working the counter.
Weird. I just wanted a slice of pizza. Maybe two.

I love there stuffed peppers and there great hamburgrs especially the fat burgers yummy theres many varities of tasty dishes to choose from in this restaurant.its clean and serves breakfests to .There pizza is a tasty treat with many varities to choose from even good for vegetaireans. great salads and veggi pizza . Yes you just got to try this place for yourself and see . It's one of my favorite restaurants .and try there carriot cake its so delicious yummy.pleanty of other deserts to choose from to .this place has been around for years and is still going strong. oh and try there sirloin steak dinner it comes wiht salad and is deicious its scrumpious. Sometimes I cant get enough of this place . ,You get hooked fast cause the food is so so good love this place only problem is the parking I hate meters lol. who wants to pay the mayor so much . lol .But try there salads .there yummy. I just might get me another salad all this is making me now hungry. lol
