| About: | This large, friendly and award-winning Irish pub is divided into a front bar and a back room. Live music is played every night, and many nights there are simultaneous performances in the two rooms. Guinness is a very popular draft, but there are plenty of imports, microbrews and other beers to choose from. The menu is basic: appetizers and salads, burgers and sandwiches, roasted meats. User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFor a black man to feel comfortable in an Irish bar is the mark of a great place. Friendly, good pub food, and they even made my Mom coffee with Irish stew. Cool place!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy favorite pub: The Burren's food is consistently good, the staff (though overworked) are friendly if you're respectful, and the music's fun. It's a bit of a madhouse on weekends, so be warned; but for a date, or a drink with friends during the week, you can't beat it.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsRotten service, rude staff: Great bluegrass music. Table seating in the front room was restricted to dinner patrons. Though NONE of the tables were full, we got off the train from a 200 mile ride to see the band play and were forced to stand. We left and will never go back.
