| About: | Many restaurants in Boston claim to have the best ribs in town, but carnivorous locals can tell you that this kitschy Southern joint is the real deal. The ribs are dry-rubbed and smoked for hours before they reach your plate. Sauce is served on the side, not baked on. Rib styles include Memphis, Arkansas, Texas and baby back. The menu also includes sandwiches, fish, steaks and down-home Southern sides like succotash, corn pudding and fried okra. Two dozen microbrews are available on tap. |

WOW! Delicious BBQ and i ain't pullin' your leg (bone) haha Went there for the first time on 2/27/09 (it was at an after party for Frances Cardullo Gourmet Shop a Harvard Square Merchant) the wait staff were awesome (having been in the business i know good staff!) and the ribs were out of this world! the sides were yummy as well and in the future i'd like to try everything on the menu! Go here, You will not be disappointed!
This place was hyped up a bit so i guess i was a bit disappointed of the meal i had. Meat was a bit dry and service was fine. I've had much better.
I LOVE the Coronet. That is the original name of this place. There was always something magical about this joint. Back in the day Bernie Flannery was the night bartender and one of the best customers a cab driver could get. 5 bucks from Bernies house to the bar and you got all the calls that night. When you get to Redbones the Blind Pig will greet you. When you get inside Joanne will get you a drink and table. The Food is real good. Go for Lunch...all you can eat BBQ. The sausage is awesome. (They sneak them in the helpings)Kenny is cooking and lovin all day and night. This place is a Somerville cornerstone. Loved it then, now and the next time.
The menu has been on a wall in my house in NH for 12 years. Autographed by Joe Perry...who...
